Irish Life recently obtained Planning permission for a new office headquarters building at 18-21 St.Stephens Green, Dublin 2.
The development includes the demolition of the existing office building and the construction of a new office development (c.21,250 sq.m), a cultural/ arts facility and ground floor retail unit accessed via an open public courtyard. The building ranges in height from 5 storeys on St.Stephens Green, setting back to 7 storeys at the rear of the site facing onto Joshua Lane, over 2 basement levels with 35 car parking spaces and 297 bicycle spaces. External terraces will overlook St.Stephens Green at 5th and 6th floor levels.
Target accreditations include: Net Zero Carbon, Building Energy Rating of A2 (improving on the current NZEB target of A3), LEED Platinum rating, WELL Platinum rating, Wired Score Platinum rating, Smart ready and Cycling Score certification.
